The War Room
If you weren't in Sales, what would you be doing?
I'm going with restaurant owner even with the ridiculously low margins
Senior Account Executive
Probably a firefighter...that's what I was pursing immediately before I got into sales. But at the time it was just after the 2008 recession ended, and government entities were all experiencing cutbacks and layoffs...and this not hiring anyone new. Had to pivot.
Those firefighting jobs are so hard to come by now, at least near me. Definitely a good option though, especially with the x days on x days off.
Being poor doing something else
Master of Disaster
My previous job, but with no sales.
If money was no object, finishing my PhD in History (Religious minorities of exceptional cohesion, and definitely something about Alexander and ptsd) and writing for academic journals.
Biz Ops, Radio/Journalism.. but definitely not marketing.
Selling merch online
I would problabluy be doing marketing or would be a PE teacher.
Levchin joining the sales rip bandwagon
What's the modern equivalent of the sales bell?
