Interviewing

What's the worst question you've ever been asked in an interview (can be anything from the phone screen all the way to the final step)?

For me it was on a 10 minute phone screen. Second or third question the recruiter asked was "Can you see yourself working here at ______ in five years?" Turned and ran. I'm sure my fellow savages have heard even worse.

If I fell off tomorrow would you still love me?
If I didn't smell so good would you still hug me?

"If a song played everytime you walked into a room, what song would it be?"

Such a useless question. Pretty sure they took this from Zappos or something

The worst wasn't the question, but the expected answer.

I was asked what the most important skill of a successful sales person is.

My answer: To understand the customers challenges.
His Response: Wrong. You need to know the ins and outs of the product.

Was underpaid at my old job. HR recruiter asked what my salary was (illegal in my state), and I told her it didn't matter and what I was looking for. She asked again, and I again told her it doesn't matter. Asked a third time, and finally dropped it when I still wouldn't tell her.
