Introducing… TechSalesU

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

It was the age of savages, it was the age of freshmen.

It was the epoch of high-paying jobs, it was the epoch of uncapped commission.

It was the season of technology, it was the season of sales careers.

It was the spring of recession, it is the winter of tech-sales obsession.

Everyone wants a career in tech sales today. High salaries, excellent benefits, uncapped commissions, and perhaps life-changing equity. In Chandler’s words: “Can it be more lucrative than this?”

But we also know how hard it can get to break into a tech sales role. Sales leaders want savages who can ramp up fast. Maybe they don’t trust their training/enablement teams enough. Maybe!

Additionally, we keep hearing about the struggles of the ones in their initial stages of tech-sales careers. With SDRs still sweating around taking cold calls and first-time AE’s having little to no idea how to crush quota.

Our team thought a lot about these two problems and went on a mission to solve this.

Introducing TECH SALES UNIVERSITY : the first program purpose-built by Bravado to help you:

  • Land a high-paying job in Tech sales
  • Get Ivy league coaching in selling SaaS

We put thousands of hours to create a curriculum that is tailor-made, impact-driven, and easy to learn. Rockstars like Corporate Bro and Tech Sales Tom have created a series of hilarious, yet compelling content, which you can have fun watching while leveling up.

You get to learn at your own pace, time, and convenience. Moreover, our resident sales experts with experience closing tech deals and managing SDRs would be providing on-the-fly feedback and guidance to everyone who needs it.

Last, and definitely not least, It’s Free.

Savages, if you know someone who wants to break into tech sales, get them enrolled today. This could be their chance to build a $100k+ tech sales career in a matter of weeks and learn advanced tactics that you typically only learn 2-3 years down the road.

Use the promo code SAVAGE and enroll yourself and/or your friends for free.

Even if you’re already in tech sales, trust me when I say this - you want to take this course now! In fact, many folks who've enrolled are doing well in their sales career and using the course to get a leg up amongst their peers.

I took it myself and got some of the questions wrong! I'd personally love to see someone from the War Room acing this course!

Challenge accepted?

Cheers!

@Gasty

I’ve signed up on Jobs but I don’t have access to see the actual jobs… I just see the LinkedIn job posts from Bravado but not the companies. Is that the way it’s supposed to be?

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
@Gasty So I went through the first 3 modules of the Program Overview. Here's my feedback:

(1) Great 70's porn soundtrack. Grabbed my attention! But seriously...

(2) Great sales 101 intro. This is a great series for someone in college or who wants to get into sales (maybe mandatory?). Answers SO MANY questions I see newbies asking here. You should be offering (selling) this to undergrad business schools as an intro to Sales Seminar (or similar).

(3) Some assumptions are made which may not be 100% correct - B2B can be VERY lucrative and rewarding. The series glorifies the B2C, which I get, but I know guys who make 6 figures selling pest control & solar door to door.

(4) The career progression from SDR onward is very assumptive. While prevalent in SaaS, not every organization does it that way.

(5) I like the gamification quizzes. Maybe you can do a leader board? Will the XP translate to something similar like the commission points?

(6) I noticed a lack of Bravado swag in the videos. Seems like a lost opportunity to subtly influence people with Bravado mugs, t-shirts, Traegers, etc.

This is obviously a very comprehensive overview of Sales as a career and I applaud you guys for doing it!

My 60 year old father-in-law is interested in breaking into tech sales as an SDR. You think this would be good for him? I can coach him on how to use the necessary tech but geez I swear this guy would kill it in inbound sales as an SDR.

@Gastydeposit would be refunded as soon as I finish the course or in 180 days? This is confusing. What if I give my dedicated full-time and complete the course as I see some people complete it in 1-2 days? Please clarify this.
