joinrelentless ? anyone tried it, know it's cost or value?

Hi. I'm currently employed and coming off a very solid year (P-Club, 100%+ attainment) This year is more of a challenge for a few reasons, some due to macroeconomic environment, and some due to reorg of territories and RoE that swung wildly against me. These facts coupled with the fact that I am underutilized make me want to look for new opportunities. Right on cue, someone from a company called joinrelentless.com reached out to me on LinkedIn and invited me to a discussion. i reviewed the website and see that they charge an upfront fee that they call a "deposit". this covers resume revamp, job hunt, interview coordination and interview/negotiation coaching for a higher level position. If you get hired, they charge a second fee that the website describes as "usually 12% of your first year salary"

Who has heard of this company? Who has worked with them? Anyone know what the deposit fee is? Any thoughts on whether a service like this is typically worthwhile or worthless? For some reason, my gut feeling is that this is a waste of time and money, but I'm curious to hear other's perspectives.

Thanks,

I avoid those types of companies. They tend to prey upon the desperate.

Doesnt sound legit - I just checked their webpage and my spidey sense tells me to click away. If you can't find any reliable feedback online, best to skip them IMO

This is SUPER suspect.
Who knows what they'll provide, and then it seems like you'll be contractually obligated to provide 12% of your pay.. Is that upfront when you're hired?
Resume workshopping etc. should be a flat fee.
In short, RUN

Does not seem worth it, if you hit presidents club you dont need to pay to revamp your resume. Start networking with past coworkers and learn why the left. Create a list of dream companies and prospect in.
12% of a salary is way too much to even think about it

appreciate everyone's thoughts. I agree with the unanimous consensus. i'm moving on. Also, I took some of your advice today and worked my network a bit. I have a screening interview setup next week for an upgraded job, just like that. Thanks everyone.

You 100% should avoid these types of companies. Theyโ€™re predatory and take advantage of people during these types of economic cycles.

I would tell that person to f right off
