Just got schooled by my 9-year-old

The kid wants a MacBook. He wants a PS5. He wants a Tesla. The kid also needs to learn the value of money. So, today we went to the park with a jug full of lemonade in a cooler, some cups, some ice and some straws. 

It's hot where I am and people are sparse. Sitting there at the table wasn't gonna get it done. I told him he'd have to go and bring back customers. Off he went. He sold both families in the park and got a $2 Venmo from a lady in her car. $6 in the till. "Dad, let's go to the other park! We can sell the rest." I say "let's do it!"

We get to park #2. He sells 2 more people. Now we've got $10 and 3/4 of a cup left in the jug. "What do you want to do with it, Buddy? You wanna bring it over to the old guy with the dogs and give it to him?" 

"No dad. This is business. I'd rather have the money." He got full price.
