Landed my dream job

I just landed my dream job after getting laid off in 2023. The pay is even better than before.

if you are making applications do not lose hope. keep pushing. I know we keep on hearing complaints about the market but at the end of the day you are worth what others perceive you to be worth.

Work on that brand!!!

And most importantly, you have to think outside of the box. It seems like just applying to jobs is not enough nowadays.

Thank you! I leveraged my network and asked for referrals. I took it even further. I learned the product inside out even before the first interview. By the last interview round I was already near ready to sell the product itself to company clients. I made a killer presentation to company leadership highlighting in crystal clear why by hiring me they would add immense value to their work.

I spent long nights researching the product and company employees, sales team and company culture.

I further prepared myself for the interviews mentally and visualized it in my head, interview scenarios and I further prepared my pitch and practiced it multiple times.

I noted what my ex coworkers said is my “super power” to draft a sales pitch and presentation “energy” that would make most excited and sold.
