Let me try and write this correctly

So yes Im not a native english speaker and I wish I can use chatgpt. That will be another goal for later in life...

Deleted the previous post because no one understood anything ij case you were wondering.

Regarding not telling my wife, is because of the same comments...its crumbling down, its not gonna work, the general its gonna fail comments...id rather listen to them here than having to listen to them home...i wish i could, and I will when I pass the three months mark. Which I think I could given that I got my commission for my 1st month's in the new JD. So there is hope. Regardless of the close calls like the one I just mitigated last week.

Anyways, something is going right. I have a few things that are in my favor and are public knowledge. I don't have stable electricity which both companies understand and that means that I can compensate 2 hours of my outages out of the 8 anytime.

Also I have a shitty passport that means that both companies are forced to work around my schedule they cannot tell me, salesP come here now.

Hope this is a better sentenced and paragraphed post.

My take, is it still possible to do it? So far yes. But you need to be really comfortable in saying no to your masters, and I am with Job1 but Job2 still.

Also im thinking of changing my tag because, I really recommended this to so many of peers I don't know if they will ever figure it out. Especially that some on the previous deleted post called out my country...@curiousfox

A real concern where I think only an act of God will save me are the holidays...and travel to conferences. Like in the end of the day i need to produce ROI and a day or two for a conference for company A means a day or 2 lost for company B and vice versa. YET, i believe in miracles and I really need the extra funds...home depends on it.

Ill keep my posts light weight and get back on october maybe after I collect another paycheck and hopefully commission.

Alarming part in J 1 was OKR discussion that wanted me to sign with revenue target double than the original contract. Has anyone dealt with this? I called them out on it and refused to sign it. Stating that the og contract was this revenue so the OKRs until i close a year need to be geared towards that target.

How would you handle this situation?

(1) If you don't have good communications with your spouse, your marriage won't work. Make that your #1 priority. Everything else can be crashing around you, but if you have the support of your wife - you'll be fine.

(2) Regarding juggling 2 jobs which want you working during the same hours. DUDE - you just need to be super focused and manage your time wisely. You can easily accomplish in 4 hours what most people do in 8, if you're focused.

(3) Regarding travel for each job. This is where serving 2 masters will come to bite you. You just need to tell them that due to family circumstances you can't travel. Or health reasons. Or something else they'll buy.

Good luck!

I'm not a therapist - but why do you not want to have these communications with your spouse though?

Well, because last time I did that 2 jobs thing it was stressful on me (we were not married then) but it was a totally different gig. So i learned my lesson from there and hence took a job that works next to mine.
There is the fact that im afraid she would feel stressed for me so i wouldn't want to share that burden.

Anyways today she firgured it out lol and surprisingly didn't care, if not supportive because suddenly im in a position to help my mother pay her retirement home mortgage.

that first point is exactly why i commented on his first post as well. Doing this and keeping it from your spouse just sounds horrible.

If you do not communicate well with your spouse your marriage will not last. Make it your own

Its been updated, she figured it out. Honestly, seemed that it was all just in my head all the exaggerated reaction. She actually was like why don't you help my mother find a gig herself if you already found two lol.
Could be a start of something should this last...maybe a book like someone mentioned before.
