I was working on this deal for a few months, and at the finish line (4 days before the deal was supposed to close), this org laid off a little less than 20% of their org. Things were on pause for a day but we were able to align with some of the initiatives they were driving with their layoffs.
We didn't know for sure if this was going to close by EOM. Our champions helped take this over the finish line despite being in the UK and East Coast. The VP of Sales Eng was online past 10pm his time to get this through. Ended up getting signature at 5pm PST.
Hell of an EOQ.
