PayCom good place to work?

what's up everybody. One of my best friends just accepted a job at Paycom and it's his first sales job. He was in finance for a defense contractor before. Smart guy.  Don't know much about payroll sales or PayCom? thoughts? (PS. it's significantly more money than his current job, but he's basically uprooting his life and moving for the job.)

Its a good avenue if you are trying to break into Tech and don't want to be a BDR. However, Payroll is typically a race to the bottom and very transactional.
Feel like most payroll sales people stay for 1-2 years and move on, with one person being on the team for 10+ years.

I’ve heard it’s a sweatshop but with very good pay for top performers. Making mid to high 6 figures and I think a few 7 figure earners. That being said they’ve usually been there for a while so earned it. I think the attrition is pretty high for newer reps but if your friend can stick it out and figure it out could be a good launchpad into sales

I've used it. I've seen their national advertising. Seems like they're amidst an aggressive land grab. Could be fruitful, but I know nothing about the environment. All I got.

When you're young and haven't got much to uproot go for it. And when you're older it sets you apart

Paycom has a solid product to my understanding but tons of competition in the space
