We're almost done with Q1.

Are you already at quota, did you blow it out back in January, are you hopelessly distant from your Q1 quota and just sandbagging for next month, or somewhere in the middle?


Do quarterly metrics matter for you? Or are you incentivized differently: weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual plans? I'm genuinely curious to know the metrics people are measured by.

nice.... I have often been on FY instead of calendar year.  It works for my clientele who are often not on calendar years themselves.

I had no idea what quota was last year. Finally found out at the end, ran some Salesforce reports and realized I hit MAYBE 90% ish? No one else was close either, I was leading the team.

But new FY just started in March and we have some aggressive quotas AND they have actually been communicated. Q1 is doable, I’m doing okay for month 1 so far. But Q2, 3, and 4? Not a chance anyone is hitting that.

As long as I stay the top revenue earner, train the team on things, help product out and try to take things off my managers plate - I’ll be okay.

Did I mention I’m at a series A?

We have an annual quota broken up quarterly that they incentivize us to hit with multipliers and getting to keep our jobs.
