International school in hongkong, couple of special things about this one:
- closed it over a chain 40 back-n-forth emails
- this is the first LITE plan deal for our org
We intro'd the new affordable LITE plan a month back and I couldn't resist myself from having my name against the first ever lite plan deal (I was also the one who initiated the discussions for introducing this plan in ROW). They would've paid 2X the amount had they gone for the full suite license - which they chose not to since not every teacher in their school would use it (a common objection we keep coming across but still didn't t know how to solve for - up until now).
Bunch of back-n-forth on questions around the lite plan - which helped us build our FAQ list (the lite plan is still not built / implemented in the product - lol). Took a few more follow-ups to finally get this across the finish line over email itself. I think if I'd asked for even $2000, they'd have agreed. Even though this is an International School (deep pockets) based in Hongkong, the Asian mentality of bargaining seems prevalent.
I'm at 10% of year's quota now. yay me.
