Resume help

Hey all,

Meant to do this sooner but wanted to ensure my resume is as hard hitting as it can be. 

I took a solid amount of time off after basically what was a Layoff/RIF but obviously if I was performing, likely wouldn't have been let go.  

1st half of 2023 before that I basically had to rebuild my entire pipeline after a massive organizational change that moved AEs around at the end of 2022 ( 6 months into that last role). it resulted in not closing anything despite having been very successful in pretty much every way before then.

so looking for some resume advice here and any tips on framing the last position and turbulent last 6 months in seat

Why are you even stressing? I only feel that you’ve mentioned data from 2022 more than 2023. I understand 2023 wasn’t a great year but talk about 23 more. Since, anyone who will interview you will be questioning “why 22 and why not 23”.

Thanks, just trying to get it better even just a little to move the needle. Already in process with a number of orgs but not going to stop interviewing until my ass is in chair with a company laptop and have fully logged into their systems to begin ramping

List what you’ve closed as well…your ability to source is nice, but I want you to close. Your closing percentage, ACV, time to close, etc, is more telling of your performance.

That’s the tricky part, those things aren’t reflected very well because the last 6 months when I was moved to a new segment, I didn’t close shit. Had to rebuild entire pipeline from scratch and was selling to VC funded tech companies mainly so conveying those statistics will look pretty bad

I closed 80k from outbound deals in the first 6 months though so maybe list that in addition to that attainment?
