One of those deals where the juice sometimes isnt worth the squeeze - did a large technical evaluation and proof of concept with this prospect.



We handled the POC well, but it was a bit time exhaustive given the ACV.



Anyone have tips for turning down POC requests when your company openly advertises a free trail?

if you want to turn down a POC, you just have to be firm that the best way for them to understand how the system will benefit them is the free trial and keep pushing it.

Congratulations!

Determine why a POC/trial is necessary - what questions is it answering that aren't answered already during the sales cycle? Also, maybe a trial (hands on generic instance) is free, but a POC is paid (time, effort, config)?
