Was able to put my Spanish to good use for this one! This one took blood, sweat, and tears. Our contacts were based in Colombia and Mexico. There was a lot of back and forth and ensuring success of our project. They ended up signing on for a pilot program/proof of concept, so this is only a tiny slice of the full pie we're going after. I knew it was going to be a fight when we were in procurement discussions and they shared verbatim that "LATAM has special exceptions and does business differently" - they were right... it was a whole new ball game, but was excited to get some new selling skills under the belt.
