Selling to M&A bankers?

Per the title, does anyone have any tips selling software to, mostly mid market, M&A focused investment banks?

Selling a CRM with main purpose of "deal sourcing."

Have to source my own pipeline so would first love any tips on best methods of outreach, messaging and who to talk to at these firms.

Thanks!

Hey carbon pro. I’m sourcing deals in the M&A field atm. However I do not make decisions on what software we use. (Salesforce by the way)

Happy to answer any questions

Used to work in investment banking (caveat was only an analyst), but all the deal makers were directors and above. Mainly MDs with relationships knew the clients and pitched M&A opportunities (I made many pitch books with varying M&A scenarios and potential targets), or already had the relationship and their client was looking to sell. I can’t tell you what software they used but I assume your ICP are the deal makers
