Sports mentality

coming from a sports background, I think it's very beneficial in sales, because just like in sports doesn't matter what I did last game, its about the next game, same thing with deals. I think all successful people I know in sales have some type of physical excessive to keep them competitive for me it's running and golfing now, since I'm not going to the NBA. curious to know who played college sports or who's just still competitive outside of work and how it's been beneficial for you

Most of the successful sales folks I've known over the years, played sports growing up. It definitely helps instill a sense of working hard to get results, working together as a team towards a goal, discipline, etc.

You can apply any background to any good work outcome. It's not limited to sports.
