Sucks when deals get taken away, usually I work something out with a split b/c the client never likes having to deal with new reps and re-explain themselves

Depends on the depth of the prior relationship. I came into my job in Jan and took several accounts over from another guy because of my previous relationships. He didn't like it, but he hadn't done much work in those accounts.

since there are not a lot of details, i can say that GENERALLY. its a good idea.

unless the previous person fucked it up real bad, it would make sense to keep the prospect experience consistent.

Why did the deals come to you in the first place, if the other reps had good relations with the prospects already ? Confused.
