TennisandSales closed a deal for $1.0M to the Research department

guys.....biggest deal in my career. cant take FULL credit since i inherited this. BUT this account had been stuck in the "we are thinking about it" stage for 8 months before I came on board.

here is what I did:

• got a full break down from my boss. asked a bunch of questions to him about the deal and saw some gaps.
• got the POC on the line and asked some of these questions to him
• I was able to see pretty quickly that we needed to go around the POC my boss had been working with.
• once we figured out that his boss needed to be looped in we REALLY got moving.
• EVERY conversation I had i made sure to HAMMER down on the financial impact of NOT doing this now. idk why my boss hadnt been doing this BUT it worked.

this customer will be a GREAT logo to help get like minded orgs into the pipe.
