Tip for circumventing low level contacts

We've all been there. Stuck engaging with the low person on the totem pole. We want to give them the Heisman but don't want to offend becuase they're all we've got at the moment.

Pull this Q out:

Who else, besides yourself, needs to weigh in?

This accomplishes several things:

1) You get the names without making them feel left out.

2) If they say they don't know, you know you're dealing with a Seymour who can't get shit done. In which case you pull out "Ok, let's figure it out together!"

Good tip.ย  Slight tweak, I'd say "in addition to yourself" instead of "besides".ย  Accomplishes the same thing, just a way to make it sound less like you're trying to get around that person, and instead work with them toward a common goal.
