I do prep work over the weekends. Just set up emails to go out Monday morning, update admin systems, and follow up on any internal notes.
How do you feel about that? Compensated fairly?
I do it so I can have more time at night/afternoon. Work needs to get done and I get comped based on what I close (and this helps me close).

I’ll work on weekends sporadically when an opportunity demands it, decks or research for a Monday morning pitch, etc. But I really try hard not to. My personal clock runs better at night- so I try to get it handled during the week.
This is about what happens for me. I’ve also had to travel over weekends too, to be prepped for Monday meetings. For me, it’s about the project (opportunity) at hand, and what’s needed to get it done.

That last part- If personal time means windows where nobody at home, work, or elsewhere is making demands, that’s when I get my best work done also.
I have worked 1 weekend in 2 years but now might get promoted and its coming that I have sunday work for monday start

If I want to prospect new accounts I might do it for an hour after kids are asleep.
hell no, except for the rare occasion where a deal im in hot pursuit of gets back to me on a sunday night which isnt often but more than youd think.

Depends on the current workload, EoQ right now so yea there's some extra time put in.
Sometimes I might have 10 minutes on Sunday evening to make Monday morning easier, usually no weekends though
Yes - in a sales role, it's critical to be as available as possible. That doesn't mean working full days or every weekend. If you're not available, the client will go somewhere else.
