Weirdest interview experiences?

One time my interviewer was eating. Like just eating an apple while chatting with me.

Had an interviewer get extremely combative to the point he was almost shouting at me. He was explaining how you can close a deal but not have a concrete idea on how much revenue that will earn.
I asked how we would handle forecasting if we had no idea how much acv a deal would generate, especially since the company was apparently trying to go public, and I guess that question struck a nerve as they hadn't figured it out.

I was sent a random link, that led to an IQ test - told to share my screen and answer the questions live in the set time. The hiring manager did not speak for the entire rest of the session, and when I was done he said he'd reach back out after he reviewed the results...

Someone asked what if every time I walked into a room a song played, what song would you want that to be?
Obviously didn't work there

I worked somewhere (terrible) where we had a walk-up song to hit the gong.
Mine was C.R.E.A.M.

Spoke to a totally different person than the person I would be meeting because our national football team was playing. They guy just delegated the task of speaking to me. In the end I got the job and worked there for 1,5 years

Got called "one of those flighty millennials" offhand by the hiring manager. I ghosted them, that whole place had weird vibes anyway.

Last winter I had an interview with a large SaaS org, two people from their side on the call. One of them was walking to the office, and for the last ten minutes, decided to eat a bag of chips while asking me questions.
The other interviewer threw questions at me such as "how would your spouse describe you?", and overall was just a weird and awful experience.

I had an interview for a door-to-door sales job selling an at home product. We went into the interview 3 at a time. They guy spoke for 5 minutes patting himself on the back how awesome they were. Asked if we would like to join and has to say yes/no right then. All three of looked at each other, all said no, and left.

I waited an hour to interview with a full room of people…

I was asked in one the interviews if I had any plans of getting married the following year / plan kids because they wanted to "plan their resources accordingly".This was in an interview. First call ever, that I was asked this.

Also a couple of years ago I interviewed with an ETL company and they were such a mess that they asked me to do a presentation on the intro call. Their wires were so crossed that they thought I was in stage 4 when I was in stage 2 of the interview.

Interviewed yesterday with a VP and CEO. Both of them texted and emailed while talking to me. This is the final round where I spent the best part of the weekend preparing for it. Felt like I wasted my time.

Thanks for wondering! I was offered the role after yet another interview and decided that the culture wasn’t the right fit for me. The interview was brought forward to a Sunday afternoon because one of the board was flying out. That Sunday happened to be Fathers Day. I’m still annoyed at myself for agreeing to it.

Had an interviewer say:
"Please research this company and pretend that you are giving our product demo to the CIO."
Did all the research, prepped the deck, etc.
We proceeded to get into an argument for 30minutes about who the CIO was. I was right as the new CIO was fresh on the job for 3 weeks and the old CIO of 7 years had retired.

This never happened to me and it's not sales related, but apparently in the restaurant biz, some hiring managers like to walk prospective employees to their car to see how clean and uncluttered it is. This is for a waiter job.

I once had to do a presentation. Prepped a couple of days for it. Instructions were "you're presenting to so and so and your goal is to" Right before I present, whether he meant to or not, he flipped the topic. Didn't go great but according to them I should've challenged that instead I just winged it. My bad I guess.
