What's one thing a new War Room member should know before posting?

Obviously, they should know the rules about no recruiting, selling, hate speech etc.

For me, when the right topic is posted there's a lot of great feedback and discussion. I feel like there's a lot of opportunity for seasoned vets to share war stories. And for SDRs it's a great opportunity to get some nuggets to learn.

What else should they know before hitting that send button?

Beyond the 5 on the righthand side, and using the damn search bar, THIS is the golden rule.

The great thing about the search bar is you can say "SalesGPT said this" --> Do you guys agree with this or is there a better way to this that we havent touched on

Giving more context in posts. Instead of asking for cold calling advice, list out what you are doing and the results, leading to tailored advice

So many of these! It's just a question with 0 context in the subtext. At that point posting your question in the search bar gets more results

We all want to help. If you can't help yourself by doing a little research (either on bravado or google) before you post, you won't get much engagement. If you post and don't interact or chime in to other conversations, you won't get much out of the community.

Being combative will get you nowhere, some times you might get advice that stings. Eat your humble pie and move along. If you come out swinging trust me, we will swing back.

Donโ€™t go posting guns blazing. Learn the linguistics of this place first because otherwise you risk sounding like both a moron or a LinkedIn influencerโ€ฆ or both. Read posts. Comment.

And when you do post, context and details are king.
