It's been 18 months since I last worked in an office. During the era of the "virtual meeting," we have figured out how to unmute and turn on our cameras. Most of us, anyways.
While the goal is to remain professional, some funniest home video moments have occurred. What's the craziest thing that you witnessed or experienced during a webinar?
For me, I was having a pricing discussion with a client. He was using a stand-up desk (this is important). Anyways, at the same time that he's giving me the rundown on why we were too expensive, I see the door behind him crack open, and the head of a toddler peaks in.
Before we both know it, this kid runs full-speed at his father. Immediately after I can't see him on screen anymore, the father yelps and drops from my eyesight as well. Off-camera I hear, "Can you call me back in 15-minutes? My son just headbutted me in the plums."
I held back the laughter as I said, "no problem."
When we connected following that, he was sitting down. The first thing he says to me is. "I'm throwing that f'n standing desk away right now. I need better protection."
One of those meetings that I wish I had recorded.
