Would you interview before or after a long weekend?

Sup Savages! hope everyone is having a money monday 🤑

I am in the middle of this interview process trying to schedule time with the HM for a back filled Expansion role at a Saas org. I only wfh Mondays and Fridays so my options are limited. 1) I either wait to schedule the interview for next week after the weekend which would put me further out the process. Or 2) I can get ahead and interview this Thursday but then I have to wait another week and however, many other candidates they are interviewing.

Their offices are closed Friday and Monday for Presidents' Day.

As difficult as jobhunting is right now, I've noticed that you are usually more succes

sful the earlier in the process you start with a company. Anyone else experience something similar?

Go before and be done, procrastinating in job hunt doesn’t always look good.

And you’ll be able to enjoy your long weekend as well, instead of worrying about “how will the interview go?”

I would ask them - "I WFH on Mondays and Fridays. Knowing that, what's best for your teams schedule?"

Must be nice to get a 4 day weekend for P-day.
