Why would you want a draw? Youโ€™re borrowing against yourself. Never take a draw role ever. Get good

I read it as a ramp. Do you get paid your OTE no matter what for those months.

Pretty sure they are talking about a non recoverable draw.

Also if youโ€™re selling a lot you can make over your draw. And draws are nice in industries where there is a lot of fluctuation in month to month sales, and/or for 100% commission roles, both of which get used in my industry at some of the smaller companies

Higher base applies after any draw period is over. So base all the way, and hustle to get that pipeline moving.

Higher base lasts forever, so if you see longevity in the opportunity take that.

Plus, is the draw recoverable?!

It depends on the sales cycle and what the current pipeline is. Generally, I would want to draw. However, if they are short cycles or a very healthy pipe, then I would take the higher base, and crush my numbers.

This one sort of comes down to the opportunity as you see it. If the solution youโ€™re selling is a foreign object to you, take the draw money while you learn. If you think youโ€™ll be able to get the job done, take the higher base and get to work.
