3-31 Friday Happy Hour EOQ drinks

Hey Savages, 

Been a bit since this post. Thought I would bring it back for EOQ. 

How did it wrap up for you? big wins? big losses? lessons learned? 

generally a good quarter but a bad week here. few things we were counting on pushed but that's life. 

I'm drinking a stout from New Glarus, waiting on severe thunderstorms to come through our town.

Overall pretty jazzed about this quarter, felt like things started to click for me.

My company does 2 conferences in Q1 and I got to go to one for my first time. I felt like a mall kiosk salesman at times. Crazy how buyers will hide their badge when they pass by vendors lol.

Wins:

- Our team had 34 meetings at our conference (All-time high)
- Led my first disco meeting at my conference because we had 4 meetings
-

Hit quota for the first time over a quarter instead of a month

Losses:

- Got a 5 bullet email from a COO detailing my mistakes on a cold call about their biz & why their team wouldn't take a meeting
- Froze up and didn't talk to a prospect I've been reaching out to for months because i got nervous at said conference

Lesson: if I stay consistent with my activity & be a little bit more confident I'll keep hitting my goals and get promoted to AE

I'll be sipping on an ice cold coors light and watching the sixers. Cheers ser!

Also, while I'm sure it stung, pretty good to get an email from a COO that you can use.

Lesson Learned - just because you already have an MSA in place with their procurement team, doesn't mean it's gonna move any quicker than net new 💀

Not my best Q1, but solidly on the board and looking forward to a good Q2. It's Friday, it's finally not raining, and maybe I'll get outside this weekend for a change.

I`m in Enterprise sales, so it`s not that much the Q but the year for me :)

So, 2023 looks great so far, with 3 major deals lined up even from now, I`m hoping to hit 80% of my quota by July.
