30/60/90 Day Plan:

Hi Everyone,

I was in an interview where I was asked:
What would Your plan of attack be into a new segment/territory - Central EMEA. How will you do it?

While I gave an answer along the lines of Market research, competition analysis, strategic partnerships with reseller partners in the region. I feel like I could have done better.

I am hoping to get some advice from my fellow war room members about the best way or structure to handle these questions in the future.

Your suggestions are appreciated and would help me in the future.

One of the first things I tested ChatGPT on was a 30/60/90 day sales plan. I would highly recommend giving that a try and add in your specific parameters.

Tons of examples online and agree that ChatGPT can shoot out plenty of examples.

Simple format should encompass: Learning, Building, Executing.

Spend your first 30 days learning.

30-60 is focused on building. Building process, building cadences, building pipeline.

60-90 focuses on executing.

Here's what I'd do...

Write out what your response was.
Find people in the industry you're industry that would be hiring for your position - You can do this by filtering via linkedin for competing companies and searching the peoples tab at the company and typing in the title.

From here, send a connection request and a personalized note saying "Hey NAME, saw you were a (position) at (company name). I've been interviewing in the (market). Could I get your opinion on what you would recommend for a 30/60/90 day plan for (insert job you're interviewing for)"

You may need to send this to 20-30 people, but I would bet the name of my next child at least ONE person will respond and give you advice.

Doesnโ€™t anyone think for themselves rather than just using chatGPT for the basis of their lives? No creativity just reiterating what a robot says.
First 30: learning about the company and what makes it go round. Learning how to use the internal processes and getting to know your territory/client base. Learning to work with your teammates.
Second 30: creating plans of business for your territory/clients. Scheduling meetings with current clients/beginning to prospect. How will you expand their current portfolio? Where are the gaps in these prospected companies?
Third 30: trial and error. Which business plans actually work? Execution on sales (probably of normal size at this point). Making your mark as the reason they hired you.
