47% Linkedin Response : Good or Bad?


Part of me says"linkedin" is getting harder and harder. Part of me is getting this result.


I am profiling and targeting my ICP very carefully and feel like I am engaging with my prospects well (not vomiting my desperation but engaging in conversation before I make an ask)


with that, is 40+% engagement good?



UPDATE (16th May 2023):

My acceptance rate and response rate remain somewhat consistent (in 40% range). Due to daily quotas, I had to calibrate the total number , I started with 5000 prospective audience but then narrowed to about 800.

yes. i would say that is really really good haha.

think about it in any other mode of out reach, if you sent an email and you knew that there was a 50% chance they would respond, you would be PUMPED about that.

To add more info as most of you asked.
1.) This is campaign of about 3000 targeted profiles.
2.) I am mid way in the campaign and will update here how many convert to pipeline.

I'd say its very good, unless its a "spray and pay" model of connecting.

I don't accept any LI invites unless (1) they provide a reason to connect & (2) they aren't connecting to just try to sell me something - there needs to be some sort of extra connection (same industry, alma mater, lives in same city, etc).
