“Head to the Search Bar”

If we snagged a +1 commish every time a WR savage spewed this phrase, Bravado's crew would be rollin' in Rolexes. Jokes aside, we recognize that Search Bar has a crucial role in the War Room (second only to you all).

And why stop at War Room threads in a single drop-down menu? That nifty Search Bar should open you to a dedicated page of resources including company reviews, WR posts, professional portfolios (only if users have chosen to do so), and everything else Bravado has to offer.

Universal Search will be launching soon! Your all-in-one navigation system to supercharge your sales career! Say goodbye to the tedious process of combing through outdated WR threads and embrace the simplicity of exploring the world of sales through Bravado. Here are some of the things you can find using the revamped search bar:

Companies / Salaries: Uncover company information, salaries, OTEs, and reviews using Universal Search. Cool, right?

Users: Effortlessly locate other anonymous users. Browsing profiles and connecting with other community members cannot get easier than this.

WR Threads: As always, search for old War Room threads, but now with an even more powerful algorithm and presented in a more beautiful way.

Does this mean the whole world can search for your real name and find your fancy-schmancy professional/public profile on Bravado? Why, yes, it does! But fear not, my secretive anonymous savages!

We're well aware that some of you would rather remain as elusive as a cryptid in Bravado Land. We’ve got your back! Follow these 4 steps to make your public/professional profile undiscoverable via Universal Search:

Step 1→ Go to “My Portfolio” from the navigation bar on left
Step 2→ Click on “Shared” at top right
Step 3→ Toggle Off the option to “Share to Web”
Step 4→ Profile will now read “Not Shared”

*Note: After changing your settings, it will take a few hours for the change to get reflected

So, buckle up and get ready to plunge headfirst into the sales search of the future. Universal Search is about to blow your socks off!

I mostly access this on my MobilePhone. When I click on portfolio it says it’s private. I assume the default will continue to be private? Adding this feature seems to beg for bugs and potential screwup’s.

Also, I don’t understand point adding this new feature. Please explain the need for it.

The meaning of "private" is that your information is secure. To reassure you, I can even verify from the backend that your data is set as private if that would help.

The purpose of introducing this new feature is quite simple: Currently, the Search Bar provides you with only relevant War Room threads based on the keyword you enter.

However, it does not offer the ability to find users, companies, salary information, jobs, academy articles, and so on.

Universal Search consolidates all of these elements into a single search bar, making it incredibly easy for you to find what you need without being limited to outdated War Room threads.
