Account Manager better than CSM?

As enterprise account manager, I am responsible for renewing customers as well as growing them, I am basically BDR, CSM and Sales in one position with very high sales targets (30-40% growth attainment).
When I hear of people that are "only" csm it sounds so easy, to just be responsible for renewals and onboarding of customers?
Am I missing something?
Is CSM less stressful with a similar compensation?

They definitely can be, but of course the job description tells you more about the role than the title.

I think you'll run into lower compensation for CSMs that aren't responsible for the full suite of things that you are.

Traditional CSM’s don’t have a revenue target

Everything is important, main focus is revenue and retention rate.

Depending on the company, yes CSM can have an easier job. But it honestly sounds terrible to have to deal with customer problems all day

CSMs don’t make the money you do in sales. It’s mostly a BS job that most people do with mediocrity. Yeah it’s easy.

Go do it if you want your work to be easy.

I also think being a CSM seems chill. However all the customers shit ends up with you
