I checked this out in the search bar and know @sadnesslieutenant has solid advice around this but I'm wondering how to go above and beyond in an AE application process.
-for ex- a hiring manager's linkedin is tagged in a R2 invite email: what should I do with that to stand out? email or LI message them and let em know I'm excited? showcase research i've done?
I ask bc previously I've gotten offers with just being prompt, professional and personable during interviews and sending thank you notes; not going the extra mile & treating the process like a deal
-feel like the latter tactics are pretty important in today's market
