B2B mental health product

I joined a mental health startup here in India as their first employee.
they've got amazing product. in house research by scientists and doctors type of stuff.

and we aim to target corporates in USA, CAD and middle east.

But... I have no idea how to sell to US market. tried a few times, nothing worked till now.

so help me with these... either or both.

1) How do I approach B2B sales as an indian startup.
2) Help with sales... Can share upto 30% per sale.

Yea I'm kinda stuck since quiet some time

It’s hard to sell into the US if you don’t live in the US nor understand the US marketplace. It’s the same if we’re to try to sell into the Madagascar marketplace. Wouldn’t know the first thing how to do it.

I would assume that you're trying to sell into Enterprise HR? Where do you foresee yourself finding the most success?

I would think looking for a partner or US rep to take your product/brand and sell it for you would be easiest

@CuriousFox Happy to share here.
For B2B, we have a chain of products, that start with

1) Assessment of employee needs for engagement and wellness initiatives. And sharing the anonymized and aggregated results.

2) creating detailed and custom implementation strategy for employee engagement and employee wellness initiatives.

3) Doing the implementation - organizing workshops and town halls.

4) If someone needs individual attention, we have Harvard trained doctors and Beck institute trained psychotherapists on panel. Not as just affiliates, but as part of our team.

Hope this answers your question. Happy to share more details if needed.

That’s like 1% of what we do.

For B2B we have a thorough process.
1) assess the individual needs of employees. Embracing their uniqueness.
2) create a custom employee engagement and mental wellness plan and implementation strategy.
3) deliver workshops and townhalls.
4) for those needing 1-on-1 support, we have top psychiatrists and psychotherapists on panel (not just affiliates) and sessions can be booked for within 24 hours. (No more waiting for months)

We have the best of psychiatrists (Harvard trained)and psychotherapists (Beck institute trained )

I disagree that it’s hard to tap into the US market for India startups as they have a solid reputation on being highly innovative and adaptive.

Have you done any research on successful startups out of India that are viewed as unicorns? Check out their websites, their marketing content, etc. and if you’re feeling like going the extra mile, network with sales people of those companies for some guidance.

Hope this helps!

See if you can find any news of employee burnout or worse at some companies and then use that to get into HR. If there’s a big article on how somewhere is a sweat shop etc, they’re more likely to move quickly to improve things
