Got snapped at this morning by an angry Brit.

GDPR is a thing but the brits are cucked by monarchy. Any brit I’ve ever called living in the US acted like I shot their dog for calling their cell.

Brits are interesting, GDPR compliance last I looked meant you had to offer them the ability to opt out of receiving calls and emails even if It was to a personal number. They're still mad about 1776, bunch of pussies with bad teeth and rampant narcissism if you ask me.

If what you were intending to sell to him could genuinely help him, he obviously LOST

If you weren't told by your company, I am sure normal outreach isnt against it.

It's a thing in my company, but fun fact, you can use LinkedIn, as is not tied down to theGDPR.

LinkedIn is free game so thats 100% safe. Phone/ email more tricky. If you get your numbers from Zoominfo etc, its usually ok to call but you shouldn’t email if they opted out. These tools have their ways of getting numbers so if its on there, should be good. We all do it despite all the rules tho - you get the odd angry Karen but ya know. I’ve told them lies and offered to “take them off the database” and had no probs.

there was this CEO who sent me a long angry email, I said its ironic how he complains about having no time and yet takes 15 min to write such nonsense, then blocked him. happy days

Love it
I had a similar but related on another subject.

Dude wrote a 15 paragraph email to my exec team complaining about the items in our contract. But his first problem was that it was so long, he refused to read it.

Yep

Lol hilarious… another personal favourite “my sales team would never cold call, thats disgusting” aha. sure. it was a marketing software so I made my director go around clicking on things triggering their algorithms and intent metrics. he got “cold called” the next day. its amazing how such ignorant people do business

It's OK, but I'm just wondering whether the prospect called to complain about theGeneral Data Protection Regulation just as a procedure generally, or a specific relevant problem happened to him cuz of that regulation!
