Best way to spend $1k office stipend?

I've got a great laptop ('22 MBP), so I don't need to invest in that. I like my monitor as well. I typically use AirPod pros for calls and my Blue Yeti Mic for the mic to gain clarity.

How would you spend the rack?

Oh, and I don’t need a desk, no room for a treadmill thing and no need for a new chair. Essentially looking for tech or gadgets.

Space is constrained since my office is now my daughter’s room.

It sounds like you don't need anything. I've gotten several stipends over the last 2 years. My office looks like the command center to air force one. I haven't needed a thing in years. Buy something for $1000, submit the expense, return it before it ships, pocket the money.

Mesh Wifi Router, a second or third monitor, a solid state external drive, a decent air purifier, and maybe a CBD-infused roll-on for headaches.

My bad didn't see that. Sounds like u got everything you need thats essential. Maybe a new mouse and keyboard if you are using it separate from the laptop. for 1k be a hell of a mouse and keyboard. Basically be getting a gaming mouse and keyboard that those twitch guys use lol.

AirPod Max are way better than the pro’s for all day comfort.

A second monitor and hub are great. A great webcam like the Opal C1 or Logitech. An iPad with pen to take notes. Or an e-ink tablet with pen.
