Thoughts on blindos? We use them all the time and usually just get a decline, but apparently, this guy wasn't too happy.

Yup, that's on them! Who attends a meeting without knowing who they're meeting with or what it's about? They don't value their time so that's on them.
Literally just send an email before saying youre going to follow up with a meeting invite. Easy peasy justified. Make sure you have a psuedo agenda on the invite and it's on them not you.

I wouldn't. But I have understanding for people who would. Sometimes it works and some people say it works and that decision maker thanked them because they'd have been too lazy to check

When someone sends one of those to me I decline and block the email. Very bad form. And it makes it harder for the rest of us to do our job.
