On the one hand, who just joins a meeting without confirming what it is?
On the other, I'd decline each and every day, but I'm in no way the ICP for any sales pitch.

Yup, that's on them! Who attends a meeting without knowing who they're meeting with or what it's about? They don't value their time so that's on them.

Literally just send an email before saying youre going to follow up with a meeting invite. Easy peasy justified. Make sure you have a psuedo agenda on the invite and it's on them not you.

I wouldn't. But I have understanding for people who would. Sometimes it works and some people say it works and that decision maker thanked them because they'd have been too lazy to check

I guess like most things, it works until it doesn't.

Not a huge fan of sending a meeting invite to just send one, but also like how nonchalant are you with your time to be joining a random invite...

I hate the tactic. But you work at Gartner. I think we all want to know what YOU think.

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
When someone sends one of those to me I decline and block the email. Very bad form. And it makes it harder for the rest of us to do our job.

Oh, and Gartner sucks too.

To be fair sending bookings without calling is kinda wild in my opinion lol
