Challenges guessing email addresses in Spain - particularly addresses for large Spanish financial institutions

Maybe a slightly niche question here but I am an SDR prospecting Spain at the moment and facing difficulties finding correct email addresses. Zoominfo + hunter etc seem to be pretty weak in the region, and the issue seems to stem from Spanish people often having multiple middle names, with their first name sometimes not being their formal name + other cultural idiosyncrasies. My company's target accounts are all financial institutions, with a preference for larger ones, so it's even more frustrating when combined with the multiple email formats a lot of these bigger enterprises support. To give a flavor of the accounts we're struggling with; Santander, iberCaja & CaixaBank. Therefore if anyone has any tips to share for these accounts or on prospecting Spain / southern Europe generally, I would be eternally grateful. Tips could be knowledge of good events that are Spain-based or well attended by Spanish financial institutions, or any tools/data providers that are strong in the region or, even better, verified email formats for those specific accounts.

I don't know anything about Spain. The only tool we use for this is ZoomInfo, and it's hit or miss.

First two letters of the contact & lastname @ caixabank. com logic does that help?
Can you organize your own event in vicinity of them?

Can you target their location with ads of your org?

Sales Navigator and using your inmail credits?

@pirate 'First two letters of the contact & lastname @ caixabank. com' - can I ask if this suggestion comes from getting replies from them? ZI + RocketReach suggest [first_initial][last] (ex. [email protected]), but they are often wrong. Targeted ads is def an option. Thanks for raising

Well just googled it and saw email address logic that if it's Javier Garcia then it could be jagarcia @ caixadotcom... Not based on customer replies or anything like that. Sorry for generating false hope

The trick in Spain is to figure out which of their multiple names they use. Some include what we consider middle names in addition to possibly one or even two last names. Sometimes it's first.middle initial.7 digits of last name or first name initial.lastname and a number because there are multiple Jose Garcias.

Networking and an intro. Once you're in with one person, they're often very good about introducing you into everyone else.

Hey man, Spanish rep here. Forget Zoominfo, Lusha is also a bit hit-or-miss sometimes. Snov.io is a staple on my tech stack, can't stop recommending it for Spain.Take into account also that these accs are massive, try to find emails for similar persons in the org based in the same country/department and guess based on the structure. Hunter.io works wonders for this.

Good luck!
