Cold call advice: How to sell a meeting at a conference?

As I mentioned in previous post, we have conferences coming up. We do not have a booth but our plan is to meet prospects at a nearby coffee shop.

Any feedback savages ? Below is a rough idea of how I've been going about it

Cold call gameplan:

Hey it's {first name} with <redacted>, I noticed you’re attending <redacted> do you have a brief moment?

Reason for the call: Noticed your title as <DM title> at <company name> and figured this may be relevant to you… is {blank} on the roadmap for this year?

If yes: gotcha would you be open to connecting over coffee?

They call me Daddy, Sales Daddy
(1) don’t ask if they have time. They don’t. But they answered so take advantage.
(2) don’t assume anything with the title. Better to ask who in the company is over the item you’re selling.
(3) I’d drop names they might be familiar with as other companies you are already meeting with.

Looks good to me, don't over think it. Make it casual and something you are comfortable with.
Don't get paralysis by analysis, and start trying it out.

i think you have the general framework down.

The most important part is to make the reason for connecting about the pain points, not the conference.

sounds like you are on the right path. I hope it goes well!

Instead of asking if they have a brief moment tell them what you want. If it's to set a time for drinks at the conference that may work. Folks like free shit.

"Thanks for letting me steal a minute... I have been visiting with a lot of (title) CEOs who are (emotion to a common problem) concerned about their sales team's ability to gain appointments that the upcoming conference. Our clients have seen (Value Proposition) an average appointment growth of 42% over previous years and in fact, one organization not that much different than yours saw 152% in the last show."(Pause for response)(search for pain and spread the gap so they will want to meet with you)"What are you currently doing to set appointments at xyz show?""How will that impact your success?""How does that impact... .... ... ... " Until gap is spread and felt.Go for appointment"If I could show you a way to increase the success without increasing the burden to your team, would that be something you would be interested in learning more about?""Great, I will be at xyz show and have some time to visit. Pull up your calendar and Let's meet for coffee"
