Cold Call Amount Per Day

Hey guys,


Just wondering, how many cold calls do you guys make a day?


Wanted to get a pulse check from ya'll instead of going off stats from Gong or some other LinkedIn sales influencer. (I also didn't see a post specific to this so why not just ask?)

I get lots of calls these days as a leader. I hate almost all of them, and the ones I like mostly disappoint me when we connect for the discovery or demo.

Ive gotten 2 cold calls since hitting reply on my last message. 

1st one was from an SDR from at Outreach. Felt bad for the guy, he was nervous as shit and we took a demo from them 4 months ago and the AE fucking sucked so we went with Salesloft. I told him that in kinder words and he had no clue where to go. 

2nd was from an SDR at an LMS company and I took the meeting cuz we will need one in like 6 months so why not learn a little bit. After setting the meeting I asked her what makes them different than other LMS in the space and she just goes "my AE will cover that with you" I ALREADY GAVE YOU THE MEETING JUST LIE TO ME THAT YOU KNOW A SINGLE THING ABOUT YOUR PLATFORM.

LIke cmon man, know something.

TBH in my experience being an SDR, when I do talk about the platform, the AE has been upset that I'm stepping too far into their own process.

Fair but you should have a cursory understanding of what makes you different and be able to deliver that in a minute or two.

basically none. Not all that effective for my industry. Email is the better way to reach people. When I cold call, it's very targeted into accounts I'm trying to break into. More of a sniper approach than a shotgun approach. 

Email on the other hand, I blast that shit far and wide.

Up till now, usually 30-40 since I'm a one man show. Not sure what my new position will require but I'll finally have an SDR to help, so I'm assuming less.
