This is a government account. Many meetings and hurdles were jumped through. What made me stand apart from the local incumbent of 5 years? I was able to bypass the RFP process. I set up tours of our warehouse and showed how carefully products were picked and packaged. I also partnered with a locally owned small business. A business that I allowed the potential client to interview first. Once we received their blessing they put the resolution before the board. It was approved the following month. Total time from first meeting to training and implementation was 15 months.
