i study a business major

got my exams on 18th jan, havent touched the LMS yet

gotta schedule a time for studying

people say business degree is useless get a technical degree

well i agree, but i do know that this degree is easy which helps me focus more on side hustles and trying to find jobs , self improvement gym etc

i hope to make around 10k by the end of 2024

( MOST money i have made is 50$) but im ambitious

( got a call from a company today , they cut the call when i told them i had no experience )

I'm going to ask the same question as Diablo, what roles are you applying for? And since you're in Abu Dhabi - what's available there? Your experience and opportunity are going to be different for you than it is for 99% of the people on this forum, based mostly in North America and some in Europe. I'm honestly not sure how we can provide you any specific guidance based on your location.

I have applied for every sales assistant, real estate agent , usher , sales intern , sales executive jobs available in Abu Dhabi... There don't seem to be much internships here...ig I'm gonna move to a different country for my masters and get started there ...if things don't work out

If you’re getting a business degree - does your university offer career counseling ? They will know of available internships far more than random linked in application blasting. You’re looking for part time work at this stage, right? While you go to school? You’re unlikely to find something for your region and availability on LI.

The question asked was How many years of uae experience do you have ( since I am living in the uae for like 13 years I wrote 13 ) that's the only reason I got a call... It's thier grammar mistake , they meant sales experience..when I told I got 0 sales experience they cut the call 😐

The University of bravado is fabulous, it's amazing , ig I finished almost all of the videos , it gives very detailed insights , but it also teaches me that I'm going to learn for experience, hence I need internships or entry level positions .

Internship is different than a job. He's in Abu Dhabi - so I'm not sure how many internships are out there or what entry-level jobs there may be. But going out and offering to work for free in a job with a company that isn't geared to actually help you get critical experience without being exploited is going to be a challenge. I wouldn't work for free UNLESS it was a legit internship that could lead to better things.

I would suggest looking for internships at this stage. Highlight non academic activities you did in school that have transferrable skills to the role. Additionally, strong business communication and writing skills will help in the near/long term.

Was a star in school, I was the president of the school as well . Got many awards in sports and I believe I got my president title due to my persuasive form of speech ( andrew Tate and other online gurus talk like me )
