No tricks,  tell them in as few words as possible what you would like to know from them.  Don't interpret lack of response as a need for more intricate form emails with flowery language.

1.) Go back through my send folder 3-4 weeks back
2.) Reply All to the ones that haven't responded.

"Hey, just wanted to follow-up on this, are you interested in a discussion some time, even if it's a couple weeks out?"

Thanks,
TRPD.

"Follow-up" is a sales term.  Not a buyer term.  No one emails sales people to "follow-up".  We need to stop saying that.

p.s. Also we need to stop saying "just want to bring this to the top of your inbox".

I disagree.  "Following up" is exactly what I am doing and exactly the message I want the buyer to know, especially if we've spent time meeting about a potential need.  I have also had plenty of people email me to "follow-up" using that exact term.  I do agree that your p.s. line has to go, because it's cringe and passive aggressive.  I have closed many marathon deals through "following up" because I've done the work on the front end to set clear expectations on next steps... if you agree to take a next step with me and go dark- guess what?  You are going to get a follow-up from me.

An interesting perspective.  I'm curious to hear the buyer's perspective here.  Wish we had more of that on this platform but that's not going to happen.

Unfortunately there are just very few "good buyers" out there, you know, the ones who aren't afraid to talk with salespeople because they understand 'vendor management' is an important part of their job.  I don't feel like a hypocrite because if I was a buyer I would talk to as many salespeople who reached out to me with a personalized message or call as I could.

Hi

I see your company recently...

We work with quite a few companies in the xyz industry; it’s one of our biggest verticals. Our partners have been able to utilize our platform to

3 Bullets:

A B C

I’m not sure that we can do that for you; every firm is different. But, it’s worth having a high-level conversation.

Are you available for a call Wednesday at 10AM or Thursday at 2PM?

Best,

I know people hate it, but I’ve always got a HUgE open rate with the subject line of “Follow-up:”

I use that too! It gets the best open rate of any other subject line at my company

Keep it as short as possible, 3 sentences-

1. You are doing this

2. We offer this product that can help that

3. Let’s grab 30 min to discuss, and here is our site if you want to learn more (link to video or something)

I tend to get a decent response rate.

edit - on my phone, for some reason and autocorrects to abs a lot

Not so much cold email per se, but I have a cold outreach sequence that gets me conversations.

Triple touch (phone email voicemail linkedin view) first day, send day call no voicemail.

Email first to warm it up, call midday ish then voicemail or conversation,  then linkedin in the afternoon to work up tomorrow's call .

Runs on  a 39 day sequence which repeats the triple touch three times. It'll get you  a response, won't get you a meeting. But that's our job from there

For subject lines, think about how you email internally. You don’t say “[Company]’s Sales Commissions.” You just say “Commission statements.”
For the body, there are a lot of good templates, and the important thing is to be clear and concise. No rambling.
Each email thread should have one value proposition. If you want more, then build a sequence with more new threads.
