Email mistake

Sooo... I sent out an email to all my clients from an email template. I double checked it at least 3 times before pressing send. But I guess I forgot to double check the subject line. the subject line read: "subject line: Imporant! Software Updates, please read". It has already been sent - what should I do?? ignore it and act like I didn't make any mistakes or own up and say sorry for my lack of attention to detail. Or am I totally overreacting? Thank you all!!

The world will end now that you’ve done this.

Tomorrow morning the sky will fall.

Volcanos will erupt.

The earth will shake.

Tsunamis will wipe humanity off the planet.

All thanks to you, buddy.

If anyone responds declining to meet, my only ask is that you write back “I impore you to reconsider…”

but for real, are these prospects or actual clients?

With any typo, I just try to make a joke out of it. Makes you more human and other way to have the first email be looked at

Hey man, I wanted to DM you but since I don't have an apple device, this will have to do.

I am running a free promotion on my book this week. I think the Savages here will benefit from it. It is the Introvert Sales Survival Manual on Amazon.

I did not want to break the "self promotion" rule, but it is free and I don't even get people's emails in exchange. (Amazon doesn't share that information with me)

Would this be OK?

Feel free to proceed, but keep in mind that it would be beneficial to make your post (in which you share the link) informative and valuable enough so that other users don't view it as just another self-promotional post. However, the War Room community is perceptive enough to differentiate it regardless. Makes sense?

Totally makes sense. And I don't want to do any of it without making the post itself worthwhile. Thanks dude.

Don’t fret too much. Most of those you have sent it to have made mistakes before as well.

In the grand scheme of things, you are totally overreacting and you'll be fine.

It’s perfectly fine, we are humans and mistake happens. Want to know more on what was the email about and how mismatch the subject line is to the actual content.

I just included the words “subject line:” instead of deleting it from the template I was using

Don't you have the Email Recall Option?

Even if you don't, It happens, it's not like that big deal to worry about, you could just amend the subject line and send it again!

It is what it is, maybe you will get a response telling you about the typo. If anything, this could make your email open rate increase!

I wouldn’t anguish about it. If these are indeed your clients, you could always send a lighthearted email in follow up. We’ve all made mistakes! You’re human.
