This was my first closed deal at my current company! During the service kickoff call with the account they mentioned evaluating adding stakeholders to the relationship at EOY. I kept bringing it up with them and asking questions around initiatives and ways we can get them involved NOW, and was able to close it by EOQ2.
It was honestly an easier sell than I thought it would be, but the way I look at it, I had to fight through so many stalled/failed sales cycles to get to this first win.
