Gym membership reimbursement, WFH monthly snack stipend, fully-covered healthcare premiums...some of my favorite things.

I did enjoy the "health" reimbursement at my previous employer. Offset a good number of sports dues!

Yes, I think Gyms and Healthcare are the most valued in Europe and USA.

I like something like this over P Club.

We have individual "p club" bonus triggers above our regular quota. So our company cashes us out 1% of the revenue we generate when we hit 🤑🤑🤑

It’s nice when a company does a bit more for me but at the end of the day, to quote Sean “it’s all about the Benjamins”.

There are some companies that offer X$ / year in salary and other extra perks paid by the company as Gym, Private Healthcare insurance, meal vouchers, etc. (normally this extra perks are tax exempt)
My questions is: Do you value this extra perks? Or you prefer the money in cash even if this means higer taxes?

When the perk is a company branded polo shirt I'll never wear - no. If it's something I will use and enjoy, sure. But that's so very varied - money is almost always better.

I get comped for mileage (of which I garner quite a bit). Usually get an additional $1,200/month of untaxed compensation which I put directly into a new car/car maintenance/gas fund.

What type of perks? I’m assuming you don’t mean Employee Benefits as those would be expected. If it’s a perk like President’s Club and the trip is a desirable location— sure, I’m happy with the perk. If it’s an iPad or a piece of merchandise, I’d rather have the cash.

If a company is covering the cost of my health insurance, that would be a great benefit/perk.

As far as gym memberships and meal vouchers, those would not appeal to me if extra compensation/salary is an option.

That’s just me!

In be youre taxed 50-65% so these perks are a lot more valuable than extra gross income

Yes, in Spain we have the same problem so perks are non taxed and this is why they are valued.
