When making a plan, we all consider if the work involved will be worth the profit. But when I use the term profit here, I don't just mean financial gain. What I mean is profit is whatever you are bringing in minus the cost. Profits can be experiences, relationships, time, money, joy, or a variety of other meaningful things.
Similarly, In sales, the end goal of SDR is to schedule meetings and AEs to generate revenues. But it is also true if you are only worried about end goal and not following the process religiously, the end goal is too far to hit ๐ฏ
Whether you are new to the game or old, for me failure is as important as success because it can show us what isn't working in a career or goal and allow us to try to change that and to improve ourselves.
The new experience, new learnings, new relationships can be considered as profit along with $$ you make.
When we learn something new, we don't go from "wrong" to "right." Rather, we go from wrong to slightly less wrong.
