How to find the perfect karaoke song. A framework in three steps:

1. It should make you sound better than you are. Really channel that inner star of yours.

2. It need to be something that is easy to sign along with, you probably need all the help you can get.

3. Itโ€™s preferable if it is a song from your shame list. A song that you like, not proud of.

Examples:
Abba- Dancing Queen
Ace of Base - The sign
Ronan Keating (not famous in US but glorious ginger from Ireland, lead singer of boy band Boyzone) - Life is a rollercoaster
Wilson Philips - Hold on
Mike and the Mechanics - Over my shoulder
Bonnie Tyler - Total Eclipse

For the friends who always say โ€œI really canโ€™t singโ€ I have two additional options that fits the three criteria.
Tom Jones - Sex Bomb, and Shaggy -Boombastic. Both are talk songs so you donโ€™t even have to sing, are well known and a tad embarrassing.
