Have you gotten meetings from social media?

Without considering LinkedIn, have you all gotten meetings from social media? Instagram, Facebook, etc.?

Someone recently told me they source most of their meetings from Instagram, but they were in the cannabis technology industry, so just wondering who’s been able to do it successfully in other industries.

I have not tried it, but two guys in my office have had *some* success after just feeling out direct FB outreach for about one week now.

I think the connector goes something like this: "Hey ____, I'm with the ____. In my experience, I have found that friends don't usually become clients but great clients become great friends. Are you open to chatting next [day] or [day] at [time] so I can tell you about what I do and why I do it, and so that I can have a chance to learn a little about you and your goals?"

Once in a blue moon, but I don't really use social media outside of connecting with prospects early stages and liking their activity. Havent done it the other way around.
