How can I effectively land a new role?

Hi all, shoutout to everyone landing the roles they've been pursuing. I'm an SDR with two years of experience looking to leave my company. What ways did you land a new role. Did you just send resumes or did you actively network? Looking for creative ways to create new opportunities.

Welcome to the War Room. Just a note, most people stay anon here.
That being said, do it all. And use the search bar to find all the other posts discussing everything.

A lot of people will also upload a redacted resume for other Savages to review and provide feedback on.

Come back using the anon profile. Post your resume here with the PII redacted. You'll get input.

Hi, welcome to the War Room. How do you land a new job?

- Referrals.
- LinkedIn notes to people who are actively hiring, don't just slap them with a resume but really take the time to curate your note based on who they are hiring.
- Easy apply is not an option I would suggest, apply on the sites that take you Inseed or greenhouse, that means only the serious ones would apply (and have such an arrangement).
