Since you’re remote, it’s very simple: ignore them. Mute their slacks. Drift into space when the speak on meetings, etc.

Appreciate the advice. The reason I do not like him is that he poached my account after I told him not too, asked for more of my accounts, and has been unapologetic.

This is a problem with a specific solution: rules of engagement. Slap them with a manager and a tandem slap from RevOps. All revenue generated from these actions should be credited to you. Fuck splitting the commissions.

What are the details? How is this person annoying? If you can provide a little more about what’s going on, maybe there’s some specific advice that can be given. My usual is “avoid, ignore, don’t respond” but that’s pretty vague and may not cover what’s happening.

I just ignore them. There are a few where I work and all they like to do is complain.

Stop letting them live rent-free in your head. Just avoid them and move about your day.
Like others have said just ignore them, especially since you are remote. I work remotely as well, I have more than enough to focus on each day to worry about other people's BS.

Since you're remote it's easy, simply ignore the tool. But, if you know the mailing address, send a turd-in-a-box or bag 'o dicks to the house. If he's still poaching, escalate it with documented evidence.

And when you see the same thing in someone else, you’re much less sympathetic towards them for it because self-love is a given. Why else would u not stand someone VIRTUALLY? Took me a while to understand this about myself. But hey, this may not apply to you at all, and maybe they’re just plain douchie or ignorant - in that case just decrease your interaction with them to a level where it’s impossible to care. Cheers
