Try networking my man. Only applying might not help especially when you are from a different space.

Itโ€™s about people you met along the way who appreciate your work ethic - not necessarily people with the job you want, but at a company for which youโ€™d like to work. Reach out to those people.

Like you'd apply for any other role - I reckon Gasty posts a couple of these threads of companies that are actively hiring for AM roles.

Look out for what interests you - and apply. Update your resume to suit the JD of an AM Role.
I see you are already a Senior Account manager at a company. Can you please fill me in with what you're looking to change in the role.

Check out @Gasty series of posts on roles, but I recommend prospecting your way into them

have you worked in SaaS before? I just got my first sales gig in SaaS by applying applying applying, finally finding a company that didn't require me to have a degree and was ok that I didn't have prior SaaS sales experience. I took a pay cut to get the job, but it has huge potential and I'll be able to sell my way to making more than I was before
